About pets, love and friendship

Today I'm going to talk about my story with pet.  Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to have a pet, especially a dog but my mom, but my mom said it took too much dedication to take care one. Besides, by them my mom worked outside Santiago on the weekend and I had to accompany her, so there was no one in the house. In the week, she also worked and I went to school all day.
In conclusion, the dog would spend a lot of time alone, so it wasn't a good idea to have a pet that was alone and locked.

Over time we discovered that both my mom and I were very allergic to animals with hair like dogs and cats.
A couple of years ago, I again wanted to have a pet, but this time, being clear about my allergy. I started looking for what pet I could have.
Finally, almost 3 years ago come to my house "Chiqui", he is a freshwater turtle and I called it that because that's the name of the turtle in the movie Finding Nemo.

He is a different pet, because our relationship isn't so skin but is a pet with a long life. He accompanies me every day at my desk while I study and I just hope that my pet accompanies me for a long time more.
